Upload a Directory Tree to an FTP Server

See more FTP Examples

Demonstrates the Chilkat Ftp2.PutTree method, which uploads a local directory tree into the current remote directory, creating remote subdirectories as needed. The only argument is the local directory; its contents become children of the current remote directory.

Note: The local paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.

Background: The upload counterpart to DownloadTree — recursively push a local folder to the server, building the remote directory structure along the way, which is how you publish a website or deploy a build in one operation. It uploads everything selected; when you want to transfer only what has changed, reach for SyncRemoteTree instead.
