Simple example to download a file from an FTP server using passive mode. Tcl

CkFtp2_put_Hostname $ftp "ftp.example.com"
CkFtp2_put_Username $ftp "login"

# Use passive mode:

# Connect and login to the FTP server.
set success [CkFtp2_Connect $ftp]
if {$success != 1} then {
    puts [CkFtp2_lastErrorText $ftp]

}

# Change to the remote directory where the file is located.
# This step is only necessary if the file is not in the root directory
