(Tcl) Transition from Zip.FirstEntry to Zip.EntryAt
Provides instructions for replacing deprecated FirstEntry method calls with EntryAt. Note: This example requires Chilkat v11.0.0 or greater.
load ./chilkat.dll
set zip [new_CkZip]
# ...
# ...
# ------------------------------------------------------------------------
# The FirstEntry method is deprecated:
# entryObj is a CkZipEntry
set entryObj [CkZip_FirstEntry $zip]
if {[CkZip_get_LastMethodSuccess $zip] == 0} then {
puts [CkZip_lastErrorText $zip]
delete_CkZip $zip
exit
}
# ...
# ...
delete_CkZipEntry $entryObj
# ------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Do the equivalent using EntryAt.
# Your application creates a new, empty ZipEntry object which is passed
# in the last argument and filled upon success.
# The 1st entry is at index 0.
set ze [new_CkZipEntry]
set success [CkZip_EntryAt $zip 0 $ze]
if {$success == 0} then {
puts [CkZip_lastErrorText $zip]
delete_CkZip $zip
delete_CkZipEntry $ze
exit
}
delete_CkZip $zip
delete_CkZipEntry $ze
