Append a Local File to a Remote FTP File
See more FTP Examples
Demonstrates the Chilkat Ftp2.AppendFile method, which appends the contents of a local file to a remote file. The first argument is the local file path and the second is the remote file path. It uses the FTP APPE command.
Note: The local paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.
Background: Unlike
PutFile, which replaces the remote file, APPE adds to the end of it — the natural fit for accumulating log data or assembling a file from parts. On a server with normal APPE behavior a missing remote file is created; however, APPE support and exact semantics vary by server, so verify against yours if it is critical.Chilkat PureBasic Downloads
