(PowerShell) Transition from Zip.GetEntryByIndex to Zip.EntryAt
Provides instructions for replacing deprecated GetEntryByIndex method calls with EntryAt. Note: This example requires Chilkat v11.0.0 or greater.
Add-Type -Path "C:\chilkat\ChilkatDotNet47-x64\ChilkatDotNet47.dll"
$zip = New-Object Chilkat.Zip
# ...
# ...
$index = 15
# ------------------------------------------------------------------------
# The GetEntryByIndex method is deprecated:
$entryObj = $zip.GetEntryByIndex($index)
if ($zip.LastMethodSuccess -eq $false) {
$($zip.LastErrorText)
exit
}
# ...
# ...
# ------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Do the equivalent using EntryAt.
# Your application creates a new, empty ZipEntry object which is passed
# in the last argument and filled upon success.
$ze = New-Object Chilkat.ZipEntry
$success = $zip.EntryAt($index,$ze)
if ($success -eq $false) {
$($zip.LastErrorText)
exit
}
