Pascal (Lazarus/Delphi)
Pascal (Lazarus/Delphi)
Save a Public Key as a PEM File
Demonstrates the Chilkat PublicKey.SavePemFile method, which saves the public key in PEM format. The first argument selects the representation and PEM label, and the second is the destination path.
Note: The file paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.
Background: PEM is the most widely accepted public-key file format, so this is the usual way to write a key for distribution or for tools that expect a
.pem. Choose false for the modern PUBLIC KEY (SubjectPublicKeyInfo) label in most cases, or true for the legacy RSA-specific label when required.Chilkat Pascal (Lazarus/Delphi) Downloads
