Save a Private Key as an XML File

See more Private Key Examples

Demonstrates the Chilkat PrivateKey.SaveXmlFile method, which saves the key as unencrypted Chilkat-compatible XML (the same representation as GetXml). The only argument is the destination path.

Note: The file paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.

Background: This writes the .NET/XML-DSIG-style key file, for interoperating with software built around XML key values. It is the file form of GetXml and, like it, is plaintext — so the saved .xml must be protected like any unencrypted key material.
Note
This example is intended for running within a Chilkat.Js embedded JavaScript engine. All Chilkat JavaScript examples require Chilkat v11.4.0 or greater.
