Append Text Content to a Remote FTP File
See more FTP Examples
Demonstrates the Chilkat Ftp2.AppendFileFromTextData method, which appends text (encoded with a charset) to a remote file. The arguments are the remote filename, the text, and the charset.
Background: This is the append equivalent of
PutFileFromTextData — the simplest way to add a line or record to a remote log or data file directly from a string, with no local file involved. The charset controls the encoding of the appended content; the remote filename's own encoding is handled separately.Chilkat Delphi DLL Downloads
