Sync an FTP Directory Tree Down to Local

Demonstrates the Chilkat Ftp2.SyncLocalTree method, which synchronizes the remote tree rooted at the current remote directory into a local directory. The first argument is the local root and the second is the download mode, which selects which files are transferred (all, only-missing, only-newer, different-size, and so on).

Note: The local paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.

Background: Where DownloadTree copies everything, SyncLocalTree transfers only what the mode says needs updating — the key to fast incremental refreshes that skip unchanged files. Timestamp-based modes rely on comparable clocks between systems, while the size-difference modes catch changed files even when timestamps are unreliable across platforms. Mode 99 flips the direction entirely, deleting local files absent from the server. Use GetSyncedFiles afterward to see exactly what changed.
