(C#) Transition from MailMan.FetchSingleHeaderByUidl to MailMan.FetchByUidl
Provides instructions for replacing deprecated FetchSingleHeaderByUidl method calls with FetchByUidl. Note: This example requires Chilkat v11.0.0 or greater.
Chilkat.MailMan mailman = new Chilkat.MailMan();
// ...
// ...
int numBodyLines = 5;
string uidl = "123";
// ------------------------------------------------------------------------
// The FetchSingleHeaderByUidl method is deprecated:
Chilkat.Email emailObj = mailman.FetchSingleHeaderByUidl(numBodyLines,uidl);
if (mailman.LastMethodSuccess == false) {
Debug.WriteLine(mailman.LastErrorText);
return;
}
// ...
// ...
// ------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Do the equivalent using FetchByUidl.
// Your application creates a new, empty Email object which is passed
// in the last argument and filled upon success.
bool headerOnly = true;
Chilkat.Email emailOut = new Chilkat.Email();
bool success = mailman.FetchByUidl(uidl,headerOnly,numBodyLines,emailOut);
if (success == false) {
Debug.WriteLine(mailman.LastErrorText);
return;
}
