(C#) Transition from MailMan.FetchByMsgnum to MailMan.FetchOne
Provides instructions for replacing deprecated FetchByMsgnum method calls with FetchOne. Note: This example requires Chilkat v11.0.0 or greater.
Chilkat.MailMan mailman = new Chilkat.MailMan();
// ...
// ...
int msgnum = 123;
// ------------------------------------------------------------------------
// The FetchByMsgnum method is deprecated:
Chilkat.Email emailObj = mailman.FetchByMsgnum(msgnum);
if (mailman.LastMethodSuccess == false) {
Debug.WriteLine(mailman.LastErrorText);
return;
}
// ...
// ...
// ------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Do the equivalent using FetchOne.
// Your application creates a new, empty Email object which is passed
// in the last argument and filled upon success.
bool headerOnly = false;
// Irrelevant because we are not downloading headers-only.
int numBodyLines = 0;
Chilkat.Email emailOut = new Chilkat.Email();
bool success = mailman.FetchOne(headerOnly,numBodyLines,msgnum,emailOut);
if (success == false) {
Debug.WriteLine(mailman.LastErrorText);
return;
}
