Sync a Local Tree Up to an FTP Server
See more FTP Examples
Demonstrates the Chilkat Ftp2.SyncRemoteTree method, which synchronizes a local tree into the current remote directory. The first argument is the local root and the second is the upload mode, which selects which files are uploaded.
Note: The local paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.
Background: The upload equivalent of
SyncLocalTree — push only the files the mode identifies as new or changed, so a large site or dataset re-deploys quickly by skipping everything already current on the server. Pair it with SyncDeleteRemote when you additionally need to remove server files that no longer exist locally, making the remote an exact mirror.Chilkat Classic ASP Downloads
