Download an FTP Directory Tree
See more FTP Examples
Demonstrates the Chilkat Ftp2.DownloadTree method, which downloads all selected files and subdirectories beneath the current remote directory and recreates the tree under a local directory. The only argument is the local root. Existing local files are overwritten.
Note: The local paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.
Background: This is a full recursive pull — it walks the remote tree and mirrors its structure locally in one call, the backbone of tasks like backing up a server directory or grabbing an entire published site. Unlike the
Sync methods it transfers everything selected regardless of what already exists locally; use SetOldestDateStr or the file/directory filter properties to narrow what is included.Chilkat Android™ Downloads
