Load MIME from an XML File

See more MIME Examples

Demonstrates the Chilkat Mime.LoadXmlFile method, which reads Chilkat MIME XML from a local file and reconstructs the MIME tree. The only argument is the file path.

Note: The file paths are relative to the application's current working directory. Absolute paths may also be used. Supply the paths appropriate to your own environment.

Background: The file-based form of LoadXml, for a MIME tree saved as XML by SaveXml. Round-tripping through XML is a handy way to store or transform a message's structure in a form that ordinary XML tooling understands. A missing file or invalid XML leaves the object unchanged.
