FTPS / Implicit SSLDemonstrates how to connect using implicit SSL on port 990. The FTP component connects using SSL on port 990, which is the de-facto standard FTP SSL port. Not all FTP servers support implicit SSL. An alternative is to use AUTH SSL (also called AUTH TLS). require 'chilkat' ftp = Chilkat::CkFtp2.new() # Any string unlocks the component for the 1st 30-days. success = ftp.UnlockComponent("Anything for 30-day trial") if (success != true) print ftp.lastErrorText() + "\n" exit end # You may use this account for testing. # This account allows for directory listings and files # to be downloaded. However, file uploads are not allowed. ftp.put_Hostname("ftp.secureftp-test.com") ftp.put_Username("test") ftp.put_Password("test") ftp.put_Port(990) # We don't want AUTH SSL: ftp.put_AuthTls(false) # We want Implicit SSL: ftp.put_Ssl(true) # Connect and login to the FTP server. success = ftp.Connect() if (success != true) print ftp.lastErrorText() + "\n" exit else # LastErrorText contains information even when # successful. This allows you to visually verify # that the secure connection actually occurred. print ftp.lastErrorText() + "\n"; end print "FTPS Channel Established!" + "\n" # Do whatever you're doing to do ... # upload files, download files, etc... ftp.Disconnect() |
