use chilkat();

$gzip = new chilkat::CkGzip();

# Any string unlocks the component for the 1st 30-days.
$success = $gzip->UnlockComponent("Anything for 30-day trial");
if ($success != 1) {
    print $gzip->lastErrorText() . "\n";
    exit;
}

#  Ungzip and untar.
$bNoAbsolute = 1;

$untarToDirectory = "c:/temp/test";
# bNoAbsolute tells the component to convert all absolute paths
# found in the .tar to relative paths. For example, if the .tar
# contains a file with an absolute path such as
#  "c:/Windows/system32/something.exe" it will
#  be extracted to "c:/temp/test/Windows/system32/something.exe"
$success = $gzip->UnTarGz("test.tar.gz",$untarToDirectory,$bNoAbsolute);
if ($success != 1) {
    print $gzip->lastErrorText() . "\n";
    exit;
}
