// Needs #include <CkXml.h>

    CkString strOut;

    CkXml xml;

    bool success;

    success = xml.LoadXmlFile("bookstore.xml");
    if (success != true) {
        strOut.append(xml.lastErrorText());
        strOut.append("\r\n");
        SetDlgItemText(IDC_EDIT1,strOut.getUnicode());
        return;
    }

    // Navigate to the 1st child (i.e. the "book" node)
    xml.FirstChild2();

    //  Now access the attribute:
    const char * attrValue;

    attrValue = xml.getAttrValue("ISBN");

    strOut.append(attrValue);
    strOut.append("\r\n");

    SetDlgItemText(IDC_EDIT1,strOut.getUnicode());
