Install a Windows Service

Install a Windows Service.

Note:This software is available as a pre-release.

Download the Chilkat Service ActiveX here: ChilkatService.zip
Unzip and register with regsvr32.

LOCAL loService
LOCAL lnSuccess

loService = CreateObject('Chilkat.Service')

*  To install a Windows service, three bits of information
*  are needed:
*  1) The EXE filepath of the service executable.
*  2) The Service name.
*  3) The Service display name.

loService.ExeFilePath = "c:\MyService\MyService.exe"
loService.ServiceName = "MyService"
loService.DisplayName = "My Cool Service"
